Professor Ian Davies has written a generous review of SCEAA member Keith Heggart's book Activist Citizenship Education. He writes,

"This is a very good book. It is intelligently and engagingly presented. It offers a wealth of insight into societal trends and the nature of civics and citizenship education and, crucially, offers a thoughtful and practical insight into ways of helping young people to understand and engage."
