SCEAA handles personal information in accordance with the Victorian Privacy laws - the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014 (Vic.) SCEAA only collects data submitted by users. The information submitted will only be used for the purposes for which it was collected – providing information about the association and to administer your membership. This includes recording your status as a financial member, sending regular mailouts and keeping you up-to-date with various activities. Your information will be protected against unauthorised access and use.

1. Requests to provide information
We may collect personal information that you choose to give us, or which may be required to access a particular service we provide. This includes information collected via online forms, membership applicaitons, events and training registration, or when subscribing to receive newsletters. For example, if you submit a form to contact us through the website, we will ask you to provide your name and email address.
Personal information for engagement purposes is not disclosed outside of SCEAA committee, staff, or volunteers or those under contract to conduct maintenance to web server components.
